Open Messages to see every generated draft waiting for your decision. What appears there — and which actions are available — depends on the delivery mode configured under Settings → Schedule. Review here before any message reaches a prospect.

Message actions

Edit

Change the subject line or message body while keeping the existing research context and messaging strategy. Use Edit for a targeted wording correction — fixing a name, adjusting a tone, or shortening a sentence — where the underlying approach is sound.

Regenerate

Discard the current draft entirely and produce a new message from scratch. Choose Regenerate when the strategy itself is wrong: the angle is off, the proof point is irrelevant, or the message doesn’t fit the persona. Avoid regenerating for minor wording preferences; small edits are faster and preserve the research investment.

Reject

Remove the message from the send queue without deleting the contact or company record. A rejected message stops that outreach cycle for the contact. The contact remains in the pipeline and can receive a new message on the next eligible run.

Approve

Mark a LinkedIn message as ready to send. Approval does not trigger immediate delivery — the message enters the outreach queue and waits for the next pipeline run and the seat’s daily limit. Email drafts follow a separate path described below.

Review the strategy, not only grammar

Expand each message to read its strategy brief before approving. Confirm all of the following:
  • The person and company details are correct and current
  • The message reflects the prospect’s actual role and context
  • Any proof point or case reference is accurate and permitted for use
  • The call to action matches the persona and stage of the relationship
  • Language, formality, and register are appropriate for the recipient
  • The sign-off name and title match the sending representative
  • No claim in the message is unsupported or potentially misleading
AI-generated text can be factually wrong or contextually inappropriate even when it reads fluently and naturally. Enabling automatic delivery transfers the review responsibility to you — it does not remove it. Treat every message as your own before approving or enabling auto-send.

Email draft mode

When email delivery is configured for drafts, the Sales Agent creates the message directly in your connected mailbox (Gmail or Outlook) rather than sending it. Review and send those drafts from your email client as you normally would. LinkedIn message approvals are still handled inside the Sales Agent dashboard. Using draft mode lets you apply final edits in your familiar email interface and gives your email client’s own send controls a last check before delivery.

After changing the playbook

Existing drafted or approved messages are not automatically regenerated when you update the messaging playbook. New settings take effect only for messages generated after the change. To apply updated playbook settings to contacts that already have a draft:
  1. Open Messages and filter for the affected contacts.
  2. Reject or Regenerate each existing draft.
  3. Run the pipeline to produce new drafts under the updated settings.
  4. Keep approval mode enabled until the updated output looks stable before switching to automatic delivery.
See Messaging playbook for the settings that control tone, persona, proof points, and call-to-action for new messages.
